A living library of medicinal plants

The plants around us are the roots of our health.

For millennia, every continent has built its own body of knowledge: the leaves, roots and flowers our ancestors gathered to soothe, heal, strengthen. That knowledge still exists — scattered, forgotten, sometimes lost. We are bringing it together.

Herbier des Anciens is a living library of medicinal plants, as they were used by traditions across the world — from Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Each entry traces the story of a plant: where it comes from, what it was used to treat, how it was prepared. A bridge between ancient wisdom and life today.

I.

A near-forgotten knowledge

As old as humanity itself, this knowledge is fading little by little. We document it before it disappears entirely.

II.

Without borders

Nature knows no borders. We organize its remedies by continent, to understand how each culture responded to the same ailments.

III.

Informative, not medical

We describe traditional use — the advice of a health professional remains irreplaceable.
